Hi Darin, I have a question.
Is it really true that on the “chins” one only need to hit the bar with the nose and not to get the whole head above the bar?
Well I use to look forward and lift the head above the bar, I’ll try this new tech.
Actually it is a technique taught to me from power lifters. It does 3 things. One it helps you control your air at the proper moment in time while tightening your deep abdominal muscles. Two it helps me mentally get more aggressive so I can get 2 or 3 more reps than not being so mentally aggressive.
Awesome! I always have a problem with pushups, but now that I know about the elbows turning in I will use that. I will also start with those jumps. Thanks!
